We’re StoryTale Studios, a small studio from Bandung, Indonesia, founded by a bunch of then-undergraduate students.

We started this project way back in 2016. Our path was tough mainly due to the fact that we didn’t have any capital back then. We worked nomadically, cafes to cafes just get free Wi-Fi to do what we’re passionate about.

We were forced to hold Pamali to try and survive. With many difficulties along the way, we can gratefully say that we’re now able to continue and realize this project.

We think horror is different from one to another.

For us, horror is shaped from what we do, what we say, and what we think in our daily activity. Your everyday activity contributes heavily on how horror is created, viewed, and conducted in your own culture. Daily activity plays an important role in horror.

Therefore, with that thought, we want to formulate culture and horror into a video game, and thus Pamali is born.
